Happiness is on your shoulder
I just can’t get much older
That night we drove together
Said we'd be young forever
Was I young enough when I met you
Young enough when I met you
Was I young enough when I met you
I was coming out of a bad dream
Coming out of a bad dream
I was coming out of a bad dream
I’m so tired
Of thinking
And I just can’t go to sleep
Cause I’m tired
Of being
And I just can’t go to sleep
Happiness is on your shoulder
I just can’t get much younger
Tonight's all rain and thunder
Just like that night remember
Was I young enough when I met you
Young enough when I met you
Was I young enough when I met you
Am I coming out of a daydream
Coming out of a daydream
Am I coming out of a daydream
I’m so tired
Of thinking
And I just can’t go to sleep
Cause I’m tired
Of being
And I just can’t go to sleep
And I just can’t go to sleep
And I just can’t go to sleep
And I just can’t go to sleep
And I just can’t go to sleep

I picked Brown Study purely for the Jens Lekman vibes. However, this entire album just gets more comfortable with every listen. This might be a niche take, but to me it's as if singer/songwriter Jens Lekman turned his hand to dream pop and trip hop while taking the rhythmic vibes of Cigarettes After Sex and dialing them up to "waking up in the morning after sex" tempo. It's a sonic trip is all I can say. riotgrrrl_meg
