i don't know what to do today
i think i'm going insane
shit talking on tuesday
you're not the person you say
i'm here on my own
your hand is a stone
don't care if it's true
you're misunderstood
since i've been up with you
game over dead on the cube
sharp objects in your room
why won't you tell me it's true
i'm here on my own
your hand is a stone
don't care if it's true
you're misunderstood
the face on the wall talking to me
the face on the wall talking to me
just wait and see
just wait and see
talking to me
just wait and see
how
how
how
how
i will always see through you
even if you're away
i look forward towards you
we'll hang out everyday
nothing's wrong and i'm feeing
good to go either way
when there's nothing else to say
the face on the wall talking to me
the face on the wall talking to me
just wait and see
just wait and see
talking to me
just wait and see
the face on the wall talking to me
the face on the wall talking to me
just wait and see
just wait and see
talking to me
just wait and see

I picked Brown Study purely for the Jens Lekman vibes. However, this entire album just gets more comfortable with every listen. This might be a niche take, but to me it's as if singer/songwriter Jens Lekman turned his hand to dream pop and trip hop while taking the rhythmic vibes of Cigarettes After Sex and dialing them up to "waking up in the morning after sex" tempo. It's a sonic trip is all I can say. riotgrrrl_meg
